1995 Perennial Plant of the Year! Russian Sage has tolerance to heat and drought and also will not be eaten by deer. Russian Sage and can grow 3-4′ tall with an equal spread.
The plants are erect, 12-24 inches tall and have few branches. The leaves are 2-5 inches long, narrow at the base and very short. Small blue-purple flowers all summer.
This plant produces fragrant honey scented flowers from spring until fall. Leaves are linear giving the plant an overall fine texture.
Tagetes lemmonii is a large plant that reaches up to 6 feet with a 4′ spread, with very aromatic, airy foliage and vibrant yellow daisy-like blooms.
