This plant produces fragrant honey scented flowers from spring until fall. Leaves are linear giving the plant an overall fine texture.

Early Sunrise produces semi-double, deep yellow flowers that flush to orange-yellow near the center. They grow to a height of 18 inches tall.
The plants are erect, 12-24 inches tall and have few branches. The leaves are 2-5 inches long, narrow at the base and very short. Small blue-purple flowers all summer.
The foliage is a very attractive burgundy shade and it keeps its color throughout the season. Can handle full sun to moderately shady conditions and needs a well-drained soil.
Beautiful flowers that last from spring till frost, and will all deepen with age. Compact growth habit and is great for attracting butterflies. Drought, salt, deer tolerant.
